Thieves steal family's puppies

A WOMAN has been left distraught after two puppies named in memory of her dead children were stolen at knife-point in Greenford last week.

Yasmine Megoo, who lives in Hanwell, said the Staffordshire bull terriers were taken while her son was walking them opposite Greenford Park Cemetery, Greenford Road, at around midnight on Thursday.

Adrian Nebar, 18, was walking the pups with a friend when a youth confronted them and a car pulled up beside them.

Four thugs brandishing knives demanded they hand over the dogs and their mobile phones.

Mrs Megoo said: "I haven't slept properly since they've been stolen and I haven't been able to stop crying. Their dog bowls are still there with their food, waiting for them to come home.

"I can't believe this has happened. If anyone knows where they are, please tell me because I just want them back safe."

One dog was named after her son Oddie, 29, who was murdered in Kingston, Jamaica, in February.

Missy was named in honour of her daughter, who died from cancer at Ealing Hospital in April last year, aged 31.

A third dog, named Rambo, was also stolen. All three puppies, which had been bought from a family friend, were between 16 and 18-weeks-old.

Both Oddie and Missy have black fur with a white snout and white spot on the back of the neck respectively. Rambo has brown fur with dark spots and white paws.
