QPR midfielder Jamie Mackie is struggling to make tomorrow’s lunchtime clash with Norwich.
The Scotland international (pic) played no part in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at home to Manchester City with a bad back – and now has developed tonsillitis on top to add to his woes.
However, boss Harry Redknapp has hinted there will be home debuts for £12m Chris Samba in the heart of defence and Jermaine Jenas in midfield. But it will be a while before Rs fans see new Korean defender Yun Suk-young signed on on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 22 year-old was a key member of the South Korean Olympic squad that took bronze at London 2012, before then going on to make his full international debut in October, but the Rs manager is keeping him back for later.
He added: “The Korean boy come to learn the game, and it will be a while down the road before we see him in action.”
Winger Junior Hoilett is still out with a hamstring strain, and Andy Johnson is a long-term injury.
