ESTEBAN Granero returns to the QPR starting XI tomorrow with boss Harry Redknapp revealing he intends to ring the changes against MK Dons in the FA Cup.
The Spanish midfielder (pic) has overcome a knee problem to take on the League One side – beaten by Rs 12 months ago after a replay in the third round.
Granero is expected to line up with a set-up similar to the team that overcame West Brom in ths year's third round, and his manager has warned his second string the consequences of defeat to Dons.
Redknapp said: “No disrespect to MK Dons – they’re a good side. But whichever squad I put out we should beat them.
“If we can’t beat MK Dons, we’ve got a problem with the squad.”
The Rs gaffer has the more pressing matter of trying to get something out of Manchester City on Tuesday, with Norwich hard on their heels Saturday lunchtime.
He said: “I’ve got to make some changes tomorrow – Man City are coming Tuesday; Norwich on Saturday. We need to shuffle the pack and the squad gets a chance.”
However, Junior Hoilett is ruled out of the Cup with a with a hamstring problem. Ryan Nelsen won’t play after being absent in Canada all week bedding in with new club FC Toronto, who he expects to join at the end of the week.
New £8m star Loic Remy has a tight hamstring, and will have to wait another day for an FA Cup debut, and strikers Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora are long-term injuries.
