TAL Ben Haim has signed a short-term deal with QPR.
Ben Haim is a free agent having left cash-strapped Portsmouth in the summer and will remain at Loftus Road until the end of the season.
The Israeli international defender has been training with Rangers for six weeks and goes straight into the squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash with West Brom.
“Tal’s a great professional with vast experience and I’m confident he’ll be a really useful addition to the squad,” QPR boss Harry Redknapp told the club's official website.
“His attitude is first class and the fact he can play anywhere across the back four is obviously a big bonus for us.
“He just wants to play. He’s not here for the money or anything like that. He just wants to come in and do his best for the club.”
Ben Haim has been handed the number 21 shirt during his short-term stay.
