CLINT Hill has backed under-fire boss Mark Hughes to turn around QPR's fortunes.
Pressure is mounting on the Welshman after Rangers headed into the international break rooted to the foot of the table and without a win in their opening seven games.
But Hill insists Hughes is still the right man for the job.
He said: “The gaffer's confident he can turn things around – he wouldn't be here if he wasn't. He's still got the full support of all the boys. We're fully behind him and the staff.
“If you have three or four bad results people from outside the club start writing things and pointing fingers. Everybody on the inside is pulling in the same direction and trying to get the result we need.
“If you look at the Tottenham manager three or four weeks ago everyone was saying he was a bad manager. All of a sudden he gets a few results and nothing is said.”
