QPR boss Hughes reckons his job is safe

BOSS Mark Hughes is confident he will get the time needed to turn QPR fortunes around - but admits that until the club starts winning the spotlight will remain on him.

Rangers have yet to register a league win and sit bottom of the Premier League with just two points. But the manager (pic) agrees any negative vibes will resound around Loftus Road until the club's fortunes change.

He said: "I would think I'll get time. We've had a big investment at the club, and we're looking to improve. It's very early days, but until we get positive results everything is up for debate.

"The focus starts to come on the club as a whole, but when we win football matches - it goes away."
