MARSEILLE midfielder Stephane Mbia is set to join QPR.
The Cameroon international claims he has snubbed the chance to move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce in favour of a switch to Loftus Road.
Mbia's arrival in W12 is part of the deal which sees Joey Barton go in the opposite direction, with the axed R's captain in France undergoing a medical.
Mbia told Le Parisien: "I choose to go to QPR, despite the late interest of Fenerbahce. I want to join one of the best leagues in the world. I am excited."
Meanwhile, Rangers have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for midfielder Esteban Granero.
The 25-year-old's move to west London is subject to a medical and agreeing personal terms.
