Wigan 1-2 Fulham
MARTIN Jol's men claimed a well-deserved first away win of the season to lift themselves up to fourth place in the Premier League table - Hugo Rodallega and Damien Duff getting the all-important goals.
It was a particularly happy return to the DW Stadium for Fulham summer-signing Rodallega (pictured), whose close range header after 31 minutes put the Whites on their way.
Dimitar Berbatov set up the goal with a superb cross, giving an early answer those questioning whether the languid Bulgarian can be as effective on the road as he is expected to be at Craven Cottage.
Fulham were 2-0 up after 68 minutes when Duff hit a perfect shot into the top scorner from the edge of the area - Bryan Ruiz this time the supplier.
Wigan did manage to find the net, but Arouna Kone's strike came in the final minute and was too late to deny the Whites.
