Chelsea midfielder 'out for a few weeks'

THE CALF injury picked up by Frank Lampard in the Champions League match at Shakhtar Donetsk is likely to rule him out of first team action for several weeks.

The England midfielder limped off early in Tuesday's game at the Donbass Arena and has the disappointment of sitting out Sunday's key home game against Manchester United.

"It's a big loss for us," said Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo, who says the rest of his squad are all available for the weekend clash between the two top sides in the Premier League.
