POLICE are appealing for information after a cyclist died following a collision with a lorry in Southall last week.
Officers have named 60-year-old Tarsem Dari as the victim following an incident at the junction of Saxon Road and Southall Broadway on Thursday July 5.
Officers were called to the junction at around 2pm after reports of a four-axle tipper lorry colliding with the cyclist. The 34-year-old male lorry driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was taken into custody at a west London police station but later released on bail. He is due to return in early November for more questioning.
Police are appealing to the public for any more information regarding the accident while waiting for a post-mortem examination.
