Centre saga nears end

THE long-running battle over the Arcadia Centre plans will come to a head at next month's public inquiry,and spectators can expect neither side to pull any punches.

Both Glenkerrin and Save Ealing Centre are adamant in their opposing views about what's best for the town centre. It will be interesting to see how willing people are to dive into their own pockets to support a legal challenge - and how much Ealing Council is prepared to pay to fight for a scheme which it clearly wants to see come to fruition.
