Dr Mark Spencer, medical director of North West London NHS, says in his letter (October 12) that they 'haven't made any decision yet' about the outcome of the consultation which threatens four out of eight of our A&E units with closure.
That is incorrect. Dr Spencer; you and NWLNHS have already chosen to restrict the result of your consultation to one of three options. Each of which threatens the closure of accident and emergency units. Furthermore you have chosen to deny our community the right to choose Option D – Don't close our A&E's and hospitals!
We already have 60,000 people signing a petition in support of Option D. And more are signing every day.
I would be interested to know how many consultation documents in total have been returned. You and/or the polling company have had two weeks to count them.
I look forward to your answer Dr Spencer.
