Letters: It’s a cruel end for the Red Lion

I am now 76-years old and have lived in Greenford all my life. To see the removal of the 'Red Lion' is very sad.

To allow the developers to strip the roof before the planning permission was granted is plainly bullying.

I was hoping they could keep the building (like a listed building) and integrate housing accommodation internally. Before anything else, the local population should be allowed to see plans and have a say.

Please put any planning decisions in the Gazette, so that they are made transparent.
